We’re excited to share our new annual report for the 2016 academic year!
This annual report presents CPD’s stories of leadership, innovations, scholarship and engagement with our community.
Throughout 2016, we continued to work towards our vision of improving health through innovation in education. Some highlights include:
- Continued innovation through endeavours such as the Inaugural Transanal TME Congress and subsequent Proctorship Network as well as the second run of the IDEAS (Improving and Driving Excellence Across Sectors) program
- CPD University Collaborative winning the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons CPD Providers Innovation Award
- Developing a unique mentorship program for the new Office of Life Long Learning at the University of Alberta
- Continued cultural competency training for health care professionals through the second biennial Indigenous Health Conference
In addition, our courses and conferences provided leading education to a broad spectrum of health professionals from local, national and international markets.
Our success is due in part to the dedicated CPD leaders, conference chairs and staff who provide exceptional service in creating and running innovative programs to drive change and improve healthcare. A special thank you to all of them for their support and hard work.
We’d love to hear your thoughts and comments once you’ve reviewed the report. Please share on Twitter @uoftcpd #CPDar16.
