Catherine Bouchard MD, CCFP

Dr. Catherine Bouchard graduated in family medicine from the University of Montreal in 2008. She practices at the Clinique Médicale de Sillery, with a particular focus on metabolic and women’s health. Passionate about a holistic approach to health, Dr. Bouchard holds a diploma in functional nutrition from Laval University and is pursuing training in Lifestyle Medicine with the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine. Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Bouchard is actively involved in the continuing education of healthcare professionals. She collaborates with the Fédération des Médecins Omnipraticiens du Québec (FMOQ) for the organization of conferences for family physicians. She has also collaborated with INESSS on several advisory committees and currently serves on a permanent deliberative committee.

Céline Bouchard MD, FRCSC
President Elect, Canadian Menopause Society and Scientific Committee Member
Dr. Céline Bouchard is a Canadian Obstetrician Gynecologist practicing in Quebec City with special interest in menopause and vulvovaginal diseases. She is a Fellow of the International Society of Vulvovaginal Disease (ISSVD) and is recognized for her expertise in this field by many of her colleagues. Dr Bouchard has been involved in women’s health research for many years and involved as co-investigator in many trials on menopausal hormone therapy. She sits on the Editorial Board of the NAMS Journal “Menopause” and on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Canada. She is an active member of the Canadian Menopause Society and is responsible for the Quebec regional section for the Society.

Jeanne Bouteaud MDCM, MSc, FRCSC

Dr. Bouteaud is an obstetrician-gynecologist at the CHUM in Montreal. She specializes in the management of menopause as well as gynecological sequelae in cancer survivors. She also has an interest in the follow-up of patients carrying genetic mutations at high risk of gynecological cancer.

Karen Desrosiers MD, FRCSC

Dr. Karen Desrosiers is an obstetrician-gynecologist and a physician certified in menopause by The Menopause Society. She studied medicine and did her specialization at the University of Sherbrooke, province of Quebec. From 2004 to 2015, Dr. Desrosiers was a valued member of the obstetrics and gynecology team at The Moncton Hospital and an adjunct professor at Dalhousie University and Memorial University. She has been with Horizon Health Network in New Brunswick since 2004 and since 2020 at the Reconnect Health Center in Moncton, a clinic specializing in women's health. She has developed an interest in vulvovaginal pathologies as well as menopause and is the Atlantic representative on the board of directors of the Canadian Menopause Society. Dr. Desrosiers actively contributes to the dissemination of medical knowledge by giving medical conferences in addition to various media appearances.

Susan Goldstein MD, CCFP, FCFP, MSCP

Dr. Goldstein is a Family Physician and Assistant Professor in the Department of Family & Community Medicine at the University of Toronto and a board member of the Canadian Menopause Society. Her clinical and research activities reflect her special interests in medical education and mature women’s health. She is the author of the MQ6 menopausal assessment tool and treatment algorithm and the MQ6 Menopause Management Tools© website - www.mq6.ca

Radomir Jarcevic MD

Dr. Jarcevic completed his medical degree in obstetrics and gynecology at Université de Montréal in 2015. He then completed additional training in menopause and mature woman’s health at Mount Sinai Hospital affiliated with the University of Toronto. He has been practicing at the CIUSSS-de-l’Est-de-l’Île-de-Montréal since 2016.Dr. Jarcevic has a general practice in obstetric gynecology and offers dedicated healthcare to perimenopausal and menopausal women. He is also actively involved in the training of medical students and residents through his role as a clinical lecturer at Université de Montréal.

Kelsey Mills MD, MSc HSEd, FRCSC, MSCP

Dr. Mills is currently a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Victoria, BC where she has a complex menopause practice. She is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia and Affiliate Associate Professor at the University of Victoria.

Shafeena Premji MD, CCFP, MHA, BSc, MSCP

Dr. Premji is Medical Director/Founder of Mahogany Medical Clinic and The Village Medical - two family practice clinics with a special focus on Women's Health which offers maternity care, breastfeeding support, pelvic health, contraception, and peri-menopause/menopause.

Wendy Wolfman MD, FRCSC, FACOG, MSCP

Dr. Wendy Wolfman is the Director of the Menopause Clinic and The Premature Ovarian Failure Clinic at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Toronto, co- head of the education committee of the International Menopause Society, President of the Canadian Menopause Society and the first recipient of the Carol Mitchell Chair in Mature Women’s Health. She recently received the “Trailblazer Award” from the Canadian Menopause Society and the “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the Ontario Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. In 2009 she received the Practitioner of the Year Award from the North American Menopause Society.
Dr. Wolfman initiated one of the first fellowship programs in Mature Women’s Health and runs a yearly CME course in Mature Women’s Health. Her graduates have assumed positions throughout Canada, Chile and the Middle East. She has lectured extensively throughout Canada both for physicians and the general community.
She has contributed to gynaecologic knowledge via her previous 10 year position as co-chair of the National Guideline Committee for Gynaecology for the Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of Canada, as well as her guidelines, publications, and national and international presentations.

Nese Yuksel BSc.Pharm, Pharm.D, FCSHP, MSCP

Dr. Nese Yuksel is currently a full Professor with the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Alberta. Additionally, she holds a cross-appointment with Alberta Health Services and practices in the Menopause Clinics at the Lois Hole Hospital for Women and the Multidisciplinary Bone Health Clinic at the University of Alberta Hospital. Her research goals include bridging her interests in women’s health, osteoporosis and practice-based research to develop innovative techniques to enhance patient care. Dr. Yuksel is a NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP). She is also on the Board of Directors for Canadian Menopause Society / Société Canadienne de Ménopause (CMS/SCM) and a member of the Executive Committee of the Scientific Advisory Council of Osteoporosis Canada. She was the recipient of the CPhA Canadian Pharmacist of the Year in 2016.
